Patricia Castillo una joven que desde niña se sintió muy atraída a la moda , además de tener influencia con la costura de su abuela. Desde pequeña sabía lo que le gustaba y hacia donde quería ir. Al crecer decidió estudiar diseño de modas pero en nuestro país no existía la carrera, entró a la UJMD ( Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado) a probar la carrera de Diseño artesanal. Al darse cuenta que no era lo que quería, decidió ir a milán, Italia a estudiar diseño de moda y trabajó con compañías japonesas. Al regresar a El Salvador trabajó en publicidad, creando la ropa de campañas internacionales, además de ser directora de arte y ¨stylist¨ en importantes productoras de televisión.
Patricia Castillo from a early age feelt attracted to fashion, as well as having influence with the seam of her grandmother. Since her childhood she knew what he liked and where I wanted to go. Growing up he decided to study fashion design but in our country doesn´t exist as a carrear ,so se entered to the UJMD (Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado) to test the craft Design career. Realizing that was not what I wanted, decided to go to Milan, Italy to study fashion design and worked with Japanese companies. Upon returning to El Salvador worked in advertising, creating international campaigns clothing, besides being an art director and stylist on major television producers.

Al trabajar en publicidad y aprender del medio, se dió cuenta que era tiempo de hacer su marca. Y creó The P. una marca que hace prendas con diseño de autor, bajo la línea PRÊT-À-PORTER o lista para usar. Cada pieza posee su estilo único, su personalidad.
La diseñadora define su estilo como minimalista, calidad, detalles, usa telas no convencionales y crear prendas con diseño conceptual. Va dirigido a mujeres entre los 23 a 37 años de edad, con personalidad definida y que se atreven a usar una prenda diferente.

Para Passport, una pasarela que tenía que ser inspirada en un país. Patricia castillo obtuvo su inspiración en las calles de Berlín . Colores sobrios que tienen al negro como base , son parte de la paleta que utilizó en esta colección, son los colores que le recuerdan a la feria de Berlín donde se inspiró. Los estampados con base geométrica recuerdan la retícula urbana de una ciudad, así como los tonos sobrios le recuerdan a una ciudad histórica.Esperamos ver la colección de Patricia Castillo este 1 marzo en kldscp 2012.

Patricia Castillo obtained its inspiration in the streets of Berlin. Sober colors that they have to the black as the base of the palete, was present in this collection, This colors wring the Berlin fair to her, where she got her inspiration mostly. The fabric prints with a geometric base remember the urban graticule of a city, as well as the sober tones remember an historical city too.We hope to see Patricia´s Castillo coleccion this march 1 in KLDSCP 2012.
